At a spectacular location high above the lake Millstätter See invites the Bivouac Heaven | cielo at Goldeck to experience unforgettable moments on the mountain.

Two people climb the summit together, feel the power, the fresh mountain air, expose themselves to the elements and find a spectacularly placed bivouac on the Sportberg Goldeck.

The view wanders over the mountain ranges, from the Carnic Alps over the Großglockner to the mountain Mirnock. The lake Millstätter See lies at your feet. As soon as the night falls over the peaks, the jeweled canopy opens up and releases the thoughts from the everday noises. We have never been nearer to the stars.

The Bivouac Heaven | cielo also invites you to a winterly time for two. A cozy refuge of silence and togetherness in the middle of a snowy nature. The skiing area at Sportberg Goldeck and a great terrain for ski tourers and snowshoe hikers are almost at the front door.

Picking stars is one of the duties of a living relationship - and there a places where it happens to be easier than in the daily life routine...

  • Parking: Parking is possible at the parking lots at the valley station Bergbahnen Goldeck free of charge depending on availability.
  • Mountain-valley rail: From 09.00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • Check-In & Tickets: At Vertical Lifestyle Bergsportshop the vally station
  • Key hand-over: from 2:00 p.m. at Seehütte Goldeck incl. welcoming drink (until 3:45 p.m.)
  • Check-Out: until 10:30 a.m.

The Bivouac Heaven | cielo is a hideaway in the mountains, is a exceptional place to spend "time between times" and a great starting point for a sunrise hike to the sport mountain's summit. From the bivouac you can reach the summit within about 1 to 1.5 hours. You can also absolve the route with your bike if you bring it with you.

Ambitious hikers can also set off from the Bivouac Heaven | cielo to master the summit tour in the Gailtal Alps. A more comfortable alternative offers a walk around the "Speicherteich".

Winter around the Bivouac Heaven | cielo

The Bivouac Heaven | cielo is only 5 to 10 minutes walking distance away from the mountain station. It is possible to get discounted lift tickets at the valley station and to spend the arrival- and departure day skiing at the Sportberg Goldeck.

If you don't have your own ski equipment with you, you can also borrow equipment for you skiing day at the ski rental from Goldeck Bergbahnen at the valley station.
