A small meadow with its unique flowers attracts rare butterflies and insects.
The couple starts to radiate as they enter the shelter far above the Hotel Moserhof. In front of the terrace, the wind blows over gentle flower heads, the evening sinks quietly into the grass, and Lake Millstätter See is like a silver mirror in the valley. At the edge of the forest, the sounds disappear into the silence of the evening.
Guests sit on the terrace with outstretched lambskin and marvel at the sound of leaves rustling on the roof coupled with the smell of sweet berries and shrubs. The cell phone (and with it everyday life) disappear in a drawer, the wine sits ready.
Since Franziska Moser-Winkler and Gerhard Winkler have taken over the traditional business in 2011, much has been done in and around the Moserhof in Seeboden. In the 4-star hotel, the architects not only incorporated a modern design, but also brought nature into the house. For example, in the spa there are four saunas with views of Seeboden. In the rooms of the 90-bed hotel, natural materials such as wood, deer leather and stone dominate. For relaxation, there is the oasis of the spa-suite and a generously laid-out swimming area - a romantic insider tip for a holiday for two.
Glutamate-free Lake Millstätter See cuisine
"We know where it comes from," says Franziska Moser-Winkler with pride. The Moser-Winkler family has their kitchen chef select special foods from the region. Beef from their own lands, fruits and vegetables from their own fields and freshly caught fish from Lake Millstätter See are part of the cuisine at Hotel Moserhof. It is a given that the first glutamate-free hotel in Austria prepares meals without taste enhancers and artificial flavors.
The Moserhof is just a few steps from the shores of Lake Millstätter See.
Wellness: Use of the Hotel grounds and quiet oasis are possible during the opening hours (information on site).
